Innovation
The legal sector today is confronted with major challenges in navigating the opportunities of LegalTech. We work in close partnership with law firms, start-ups, public and third sector organisations to better understand their unique perspectives and challenges, and to develop prototypes and solutions to support the sector in embracing LegalTech.
We aim to support innovative collaborations between legal practitioners, academics and other third parties, including technology partners and policy-makers, and to provide a space for responding together to a range of priority challenges for the legal sector, such as digital transformation of core legal services, protection of human rights and access to justice.
We nurture and support innovative ideas, foster a culture of inclusiveness in the nascent LegalTech community and develop educational resources to support a better understanding of LegalTech across the industry.
Reflecting on the impact of technologies on the legal sector, we aim to help inform the debate at policy level to advance a thriving legal sector, in Wales and beyond, that delivers economic and social transformation.
We wish to be a point of reference for any practitioner or other relevant professional, whether part of an individual/small law firm or bigger organisation in learning more, and engaging with, Legal Tech. We strongly believe in developing an open, inclusive and collaborative LegalTech community, in which everyone has an important role to play.
